food magazines, homemade ritual roasters cappuccinos, and a saturday morning.
just got my first issue of saveur in the mail and i’m pretty excited. the magazine has an entirely different feel and format than both food+wine and bon appetit. its larger, with a more image heavy layout, clear grid design, and recipes in text blocks. it reads more like a classic print or art publication than a food magazine. i feel inspired by it.
i have a continuing loyalty and love fod food+wine since it was the first food publication i ever read, and i have loved so many of its articles and recipes. bon appetit’s redesign, since adam rapoport came on as editor, has also found me more intrigued and drawn to the magazine.
stacks of food excitement await me, its just a question of making enough time to sit and enjoy it all!
